Workplace Safety Risks Primary Concern for Small Businesses

Keeping employees safe at work is a major concern for small business owners (under 100 employees) according to a recent survey by EMPLOYERS.

Keeping slips, trips and falls to a minimum in the workplace is important as they account for nearly 25% of all nonfatal workplace injuries. Other concerns include motor vehicle accidents. According to the survey, a large percentage of businesses are least prepared to address acts of violence, fire and explosions.
